I'm a freelance multimedia journalist with six years of experience in news and content production. I shoot video and write stories around breaking news events, as well as longer features about gender, culture, and the environment.

After graduating from the University of Oregon with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, I worked for The Oregonian covering education and breaking news. Then I joined CNN International to focus on broadcast news production, eventually pivoting to newsgathering and reporting on international stories.

I became a freelance journalist in November 2017 and my work appears in CNN International, Agence-France Presse, Voice of America, NBC, BBC, and others.
